so it has been awhile.....

well earlier in the week i was at umhb for choir camp(last year!!!!) learning my all state music. i'm doing alto 2 this year and it should be fun. i really want to make it all the way to state this year. and i can if i practice.... yep.... lol

so today my mom and i went back-to-school shopping at the new outlet in georgetown and i got SO MUCH STUFF!!!!!!!! i had a lot of fun. we went to kohls, gap, papaya(my new fav store), rue 21, icing, CONVERSE(yep i have GREEN now!), levis, and a billion more stores... i'm so ready to go back to school now. lol i think i just want to wear my new clothes!!!! sooooooooo here are my classes:

AP English 4, AP Calc, Pre-AP Eco/Gov, Pre-AP Anatomy/Phys, Choir, Jazz Choir, Swimming(???)

yeah i'm gonna be SUPER busy this year.... but it will be super fun!!! YAY FOR SENIORS!!!!

well i've been mean lately and i've got to stop that.... i need to love my neighbor more like Jesus cause he is so stinkin cool!!! YAY GOD : )

Yesterday i went to six flags with youth to go to the one voice concert series thing. it was SO much freakin fun!!! we rode batman and almost got stuck... they made us sit there for like 10 minutes before they would let us off!!! apparently the seat belts on the next car wouldn't hook so they had to stop the ride and so we had to sit there FOREVER. besides that it was AMAZING!!!

David Crowder is SO cool... i mean just lookin at him you know he is cool!!! his songs are so good. i loved lookin out at the crowd seeing their hands raised praising God. it was so gooooooooooooooood. The Toby Mac came out and everybody just got pumped up and jumpin around and stuff!!! He sang his songs, BUT towards the end he sang JESUS FREAK!!!!!!!! krissi and i about died when they started playin it. haha we screamed like little girls, it was so funny. that concert was SO much fun. i still can't believe i saw david crowder... AMAZING

Jesus = cool...... word.

dear fellow readers,

i am so happy to be back in my own house!!! i really missed home and now that my bathroom is all fixed it is really nice... WOO a toilet that actually flushes!!! YAY ---> anywho, our church is doing vbs this week and i'm crew leader for group #19. yeah i have 4 boys who are 6 or 7 years old. they get pretty rowdy and try to beat each other up.... typical boys. but it is super fun cause it is a fiesta theme!!! WOOOOO--- Jesus is our life..... VIVA(that is what we said today. yesterday was Jesus is our Friend)

SO after vbs today my mom, bro, and aly went to this spray park in harker heights. it was pretty fun. i saw kalie and sydney there so i got to talk to them and catch up. then out of nowhere joe shows up and i haven't seen him in FOREVER!!!! it was cool to see him, but still kinda awkward since he's jenny's ex... yeah. OH but there was this one lifeguard(i guess you could call him that) and he was pretty cute... he was being all crazy and dancin to the music. it was funny, but yeah he was cute i should ask sydney about him.... LOL i am totally kidding.

yeah so tomorrow is WEDNESDAY.... i'm doin vbs again in the mornin and then sometime tomorrow night i'm goin to see a movie but i don't know which one. i guess it will be a surprise!!! OH but michael and i are DEFINITELY goin to see lady in the water when it comes out... which is july 21. lol ....

I'm BACK.... well kinda. I've been in Mineola the last 3 days and it has been freakin AMAZING!!!!! i didn't want to leave. it is so relaxing there. so FUN. the fireworks were freakin amazing there!!!!

Anywho, my mission to SD was one of the best things i have ever gone through... the first two days i got to play with kids at a little park on the res and man i cannot tell you how much of an uplifting experience that was. Just playing with those kids and showing them God's love was something i will never forget. they just come up to you and want you to hold them and color with chalk or push them on a swing... it is amazing how much they just want to be loved by YOU.

the las two days i painted a house. it was like a duplex kinda. that was a cool experience too. it is nice to be able to have a servants heart and just serve knowing that you are making a difference for atleast one person. this county was the poorest in the US. they only make about 5000 dollars a year and 85% are unemployed....it was sad knowing that this is in OUR country, ya know? but God blessed our work and now two different families have newly painted homes.

that trip was amazing. the last night we were there we had a foot washing service and lots of tears were shed. they had different stations to go to. there was drawing, playdough, a cross, a blessing station, and a station to drop rocks in water symbolizing your burdens and giving them to God. after all of that our youth leaders started washing our feet. if that wasn't a humbling experience i don't know what was.... it was amazing and more tears were shed. jenny and i just held each other crying. i got so close to people on that trip. i love missions because you can really see God working through so many people, including those from you own church. YAY GOD!!!!!!!

oh and my 4th of July was freakin awesome : )

hey everybody!!! i leave tomorrow for South Dakota until the 1st of July and then i leave for Ft.Worth on the 2nd so i probably won't be writing for awhile.... YAY for VACATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

The mission is gonna be super and i can't wait to share the Word with all those people... i LOVE missions. one day i'm gonna go to Africa. YEP i am....

well i hope everyones week has been fabulous!!!! mine has been AMAZING!!! soooooooooooooo i know this is a short one, but i love all of you!!!! have a super week next week : )
